3 bedroom apartment right across from the grocery store! The apartment is a 15 minute walk to SMU and a 25 minute walk to DAL (or 12 minute bus ride!) The apartment is 3 floors, the bottom floor contains 2 of the bedrooms + bathroom, closet and storage room. The middle floor has open concept kitchen, living room/ dining room and balcony (if you smoke please do so only on the balcony). The top floor is a loft style bedroom that will be occupied by another roommate. The apartment building isn’t a big high rise, it only has 3 floors which makes it a quiet/ safe building. It’s also a very short walk to downtown (10 minutes). It has underground parking which can be arranged for a monthly fee ($60 if you need it but not guaranteed a spot, you’d have to ask the landlord if there’s one available). There is lots of street parking nearby as well. It has a dishwasher, bath tub and laundry is in the building (shared amongst whole building) $2 for the dryer and $2 for washer. Utilities included in the rent are: heat and hot water/ normal water. We pay wifi and electricity. Electricity is billed every 2 months and is $25 each. Wifi is $35 each every month!

While it is a 3 bedroom apartment there would be 4 of us living here. I share a downstairs room with my boyfriend and the other downstairs room would be yours! I graduated and am now working 40 hours a week so I’m not home much. My boyfriend works a bit less but spends time in our room typically when home. The third roommate (male) is still in school but also has a job, a girlfriend and family in the area so he is also not home much/ very quiet. We are all in our early 20’s. I have a cat who lives with us as well (Juliette) she’s quite timid and would stay out of your room! (We are not looking for anyone with another pet as she is a bit of a scaredy cat and might not like living with other animals, sorry!!) We are pretty quiet and laid back here but we are just looking for someone clean & responsible. Open to students/ other ages just looking for someone who will be respectful (example- if you plan on having multiple friends over just providing a heads up goes a long way 😌) *Important As we are searching for 1 new roommate we don’t know for sure that the rent will stay $600 flat, it could be raised by the landlord when we resign the lease however we have rent control in Halifax at the moment meaning it cannot be raised more than 2%, so it will not increase a crazy amount!
