The downstairs room looks out on a 200’ backyard and is very peaceful and has lots of sunlight. It is a walk in large basement room where you have your own private entrance and private bathroom. The neighbourhood is quiet and safe and there is free parking. The house has shared laundry facilities in the basement, a fully stocked kitchen on the main floor with oven, convection oven, microwave, blender, stovetop, Instapot, and more. There is no need to have any kitchen items actually except your own food. You would get half a fridge to share with one other person. The rent includes wifi and utilities . I also have patio furniture set up and a fire pit for a small gathering once in awhile in the backyard. The room is unfurnished except for a large new desk great for students or computer work. It is half a block from bus stops and a short bus ride to the subway. A grocery store is 5 minutes away and other grocery stores are 10 min drive from the house.

I have an eco friendly gardening company and study organic growing and ecosystem restoration. I have many other interests as well and love to have some conversation with the people I live with. At the same time, I like to have some quiet time and respect other people’s need for that too. There is also an adorable small dog that lives at the house. She is a bit shy at first but is super friendly and fun once she gets used to you. She is very quiet and respectful of people. The upstairs roomie is a photography art student and is friendly and responsible. Alcohol is fine as long as people are responsible, Cannabis is fine outside, No regular smoking though please as I have a an allergy to it. If you appreciate some great connection with your roomies but also like your own space too this could be the place for you!
