Donavan's room

A large character home in Winnipeg’s West End. We’ve got five bedrooms and 1.5 baths with a decent sized kitchen and plenty of common space for people to find themselves right at home. Laundry and storage are available in the basement. In the warmer months we keep a lovely living room set up on the front porch and in winter months we keep the back shoveled and ready for fires. We have a large plant family and try to keep the space feeling as warm and homey as possible.

The house comes with three wonderful women. One, a gorgeous sheepdog poodle cross (non-shedding) named Cheerio who is, in my opinion, the absolute best roommate. Myself, the home owner, an early thirties white women who loves socializing, getting outside, eating good food and having fun! I am a nurse and generally work a Monday to Friday 9-5 type job. And last but not least, my roommate H who is also a young thirties white women who tends more towards the intorvert side who loves creating art, walking and truly enjoying and keeping life simple. Together we like to keep our household functional with a weekly chore rotation which I have found in my many many years of roommates the best way to harmonize which allows space for natural connection to build.
