Rue Saint-Urbain

Hi, we are a couple living in a big apartment downtown Montreal, looking for a roommate to use the 2nd bedroom in our apartment. I am a 4th year Mcgill student and he is a young professional. We are clean and social and looking for someone that we could get along with and that would ideally choose to live here from January until May or later. We like being around people but also having our own space so we’re looking for someone independent but also fun to move in. We like going out for beers and food, but aren’t big party animals so would prefer someone that is more laid-back. We don’t have a problem with people coming over as long as it is okay for everyone in the apartment (exams etc.). I am originally from France so I speak both English and French and my partner is from Greece so he speaks Greek and English.

The apartment is quite big (around 120sqm) and includes 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a huge living room with 2 sofas and a TV, a big kitchen, a dining-room/office space for studying or working, lots of storage space and 2 balconies. The bedroom itself is located at one end of the apartment, so allows for some privacy, and is completely furnished! The rent includes *fully furnished apartment (apart from the bedroom if you prefer bringing your own as stated above) *lots of light and sun especially in the living room *Wifi *TV *Washer *Dryer *Fully-equipped kitchen (Oven, Fridge, Dishwasher, Kitchen utensils, Panini Press, Blender : I love cooking so you should be able to find about anything you’d like)

The apartment is located downtown Montreal corner of Saint-Urbain and Milton, close to all amenities and most universities. Mcgill is a close 10mn walk, and all other universities can be accessed either by walk (UQAM) or bus. HEC is about 20mn by bus, with the 129 on Parc, Concordia about 15-20mn with either the 24 or the green line metro which is 5mn away from our place on place des arts. All transports are close to the apartment so it is pretty easy to get anywhere around Montreal. There are a couple supermarkets located close by, which also deliver to your door during winter so that’s great. The big supermarkets are Provigo and Metro on Parc avenue but there are also loads of specialty stores which carry organic, vegan and natural foods such as Eden and Optima which are both 2 streets away. There are tons of restaurants and clubs and bars located on Saint-Laurent or downtown Montreal that you can walk to, and old Montreal is 10mn by bus with the 55 on our street.
