HERE’S THE SITUATION: I just accepted a job doing outdoor recreation/education in muskoka for January till end of march. You will be living with the great, 28 yr old Danny Shanahan. A clean, social and very respectful roommate who I’ve been lucky to call a friend for many years. He works downtown 9-5 in sales for a boutique travel agency, and likes to work out (as do I) at Toronto’s Epic Rock Climbing Gym, Rock Oasis, just down the road. You should too! If you work from home, this is a great option for you as you have the place to yourself all day every weekday.

MORE INFO ON THE APARTMENT: Above Ground Unit. Pictures were taken during sunset. Daytime on sunny days you get LOTS of light coming through. Solid large desk winds up easily into a standing desk option in 40 secs.

MORE INFO ON THE LOCATION: Less than 2 minute walk to buses and streetcars, which take you along king to union in 15 mins. Or Dundas square in 13 mins, or 10 mins up to broadview subway station. So many transit options. If you have a car, get right on the gardiner or the dvp and can be at king and bathurst in 9 mins w/out traffic. Place also includes underground secure parking garage spot.

Awesome Riverdale Park (also known as broadview park) 6 mins walk away. The brand new ice rink and skating loop are free and amazing facilities open all day. I love going up there for shinney hockey, skating w my dad, or walking the 8 min walk along dundas to the incredible regent park swimming pool! (also free!).

You’re also right next to Riverdale branch library, gerrard st east chinatown where I get ALL of the fruits and vegetables and pho and dumplings.

3 min walk to Broadview Hotel and queen east, bumping with hip bars and cafes. Merchants of green legendary fair trade coffee shop is less than 2 mins from your front door. Riverdale Market mini grocer 4 mins walk away has basically everything, or 13 mins to Freshco at Dundas and Parliament, or up on Broadview to the Loblaws by the danforth. Broadview Park famed and frequented for it’s sunset views, as well as the legendary Rooster Cofee, of which sitting inside grants you said views of orange and pink hues. Add it to the list of yet another incredible coffee shop within walking distance of your place!
