The owner will occupy the bedroom with ensuite on the lower level, which also has an office and sitting area, separate entrance, and shared laundry.

The property has a private deck off the kitchen complete with gas BBQ, lights, and comfy deck furniture, and a fenced back yard, which currently has a badminton net set up in it.

The two rooms are available for the school term while my family is away for a one-year postgraduate program in Europe. An ideal location and option for UVic, Camosun or CCPA students or visiting faculty.

I am a mature male who works as a geologist in the oil and gas industry. I work away from home and am usually away for up to 6 months out of the year for stretches of 4-6 weeks at a time. When I am at home, I like to get out on my surf or sea kayak depending on the conditions. I will also be off to Europe to visit my family over Christmas and likely the spring. So, needless to say, I will be away a lot, so I am looking for mature, responsible roommates who can get along and take care of themselves and the house.

There is a possibility of a reduction in rent if anyone is interested in caring for our two cats - we would pay for all the food, bills, etc. But if not, don’t worry, we will find them a place with family.
