About the room
In this 1950’s house and 4 year old basement Reno, this finished basement room is my former Reiki room, lots of good energy. Cozy, planning to put a twin sized day bed. Kitchen (No stove/no oven, micro, toaster, coffee maker/kettle) and bathroom just steps away, basement entry. Has TV and wardrobe with small desk. Could add dresser. Neighbourhood is quiet, tree-lined, only 3 blocks from ocean and 7 minute drive downtown. 1.5 blocks to bus stop, cool Spiral cafe, bakery, and community centre, tennis and Galloping Goose trail. Just a 10 minute walk to grocery/take out/bank/services like dentist and massage. Birds sing here, every morning.
About the roomies
I work full time and have 2 teen kids who are here half time but we spend our time mostly upstairs. My mom and partner have a room next door to the Reiki room, the nicest people in the world. He works and she spends about half of her time upstairs. We have a dog that barks when ppl come in so we ask everyone to be home by 10 , as she will wake everyone otherwise. Flexibility on weekends. We also do sometimes have another guest or 2 in another basement room, as a B and B room. This room is suited to a mature student, working person or independent senior, who is more on the quiet side, and has their own daily activities. As I have a busy life I don’t have a lot of time to visit so someone independent will enjoy this space more. Myself and my kids use the upstairs kitchen and bathroom. We do use the downstairs exercise equipment however. No drugs of any kind in the home or on the property. We are also nonsmoking. Thanks!
