We’re looking for a cordial and committed roommate for our apartment in a residential building in a quiet neighbourhood on Martin Grove and Westway.
The head tenant is looking for a long-term roommate who will occupy the second bedroom in the 1100 sq ft apartment with a shared bathroom. The apartment was recently renovated and has been inspected for all maintenance issues.
The available room (in the photos uploaded) enjoys a great view of the skyline with space to place a queen bed, dresser, study table, and a side table. The room rent doesn’t include utilities (internet $20 and hydro $20-$30) which will be charged additionally. Parking is available at $65/month and there’s coin laundry in the building’s basement. We will need to run a credit check, an income proof, and an ID proof with the rental application form that will be provided.
The apartment is very spacious (1100 sq ft) and is a residential building that offers excellent rent control. Given the size and location of the building, it’s a great place to live in considering the price. Besides, the apartment was recently renovated in October before we moved in. The kitchen has all modern appliances and the living room is furnished. The unit also has a wide balcony area. The building is situated right across a plaza that houses the Shoppers Drug Mart, LCBO, Tim Hortons, Subway, Pizza Nova, and grocery and other convenience shops.
About the roomies
I’m Gagandeep. I’m a writer in the digital marketing space, and I’ve spent half my 20s in tough agency environments. I moved in with my friend Rishabh Mehra, who is a supremely talented finance professional working with a multinational company in Toronto’s ever-vibrant financial district. Since I’m relocating to another city, I’m looking to assign the lease starting December 1st. The new assignee will be sharing the apartment with my friend who has a great taste in food, entertainment and is a huge live sports fan. He is looking for someone to spend a great long term stay with while keeping the property tidy and well-maintained.
