I am an active, honest and healthy retired person, looking for an unfurnished room somewhere on Vancouver Island or the Sunshine Coast. I don’t drink or do drugs. I ride an E bike, and like hiking. I’m quiet and clean. I grew up in Pender Harbour, son of a fisherman/ logger. I worked until getting rear ended and injured my neck as a courier. I lost my wife in 2019. I am living in Campbell River with friends, but they are selling the house. My retirement gives me a steady income. I like to cook, and I keep a clean kitchen. I don’t have a lot of stuff, other than a bed and camping gear. I lived mostly in the Vancouver area, but would rather not live in the city now. Educational Assistant helping handicapped children was my favourite job, but the pay was too poor to stay at it. A stable place to live would allow me to work at that again.
