Nina

A little bit about me: I’m Nina (28) and still a little new to Vancouver! I came here about half a year ago after a year in Peru doing a voluntary service in an NGO to join my friend who’s been living here for about 2 years already. They live in a collective house community and I really like the way they’re all sharing one house which is why I’m currently looking for a room in a community-minded house as well where I can get cozy and maybe even find some new friends, even if only for a couple of months! My visa will run out end of Sep and I don’t know if I can stay in Canada (job search has been tough, hey!) so, for now, I’m looking for a room until the end of Sep.

I lived in a bunch of shared houses in Germany (where I’m from) as well as abroad in Spain and Peru, so I’d say I’m an experienced roomie. I consider myself to be very open-minded, outgoing, curious, fun and clean. And I looove food. So, cooking it is (and sharing:)). I’m wishing for a homey place where everyone is actually interested in each other and likes living together. I admit I’ve been a little busy bee here with two jobs in the food and restaurant industry, yet I’m not looking for anything just for the sake of sharing costs or anything convenient. Other than that, I enjoy spending time outdoors hiking, camping or cycling, being with friends, having a glass of wine and a good talk and I’m interested in social topics, sustainability, fashion, fitness, self-awareness and simply having a good time. I value tolerance, kindness and honesty in others. I’d love to hear from you and get to know you! Nina
