Hi! I’m an optimistic European (from Prague) who travelled the world and in the process fell in love with Canada.

I’ll be moving to the NS coast THIS SEPTEMBER - 2020 -from a BC island Cortes for my 8-9 months of college, until end of April or end of May 2021. Maybe will decide to stay for part of the summer 2021 too. I’m a marketing professional turned professional baker, going to study pastry arts to deepen the knowledge and get official papers at Akerley campus at NSCC. (yes, cakes for everyone!)

I’ll be off the house from early mornings till the evening Monday-Friday, with some work shifts possibly over the weekends, so I won’t take up much space in the common areas of the house etc. But I would definitely love to be part of some dinner hangouts sometimes if that’s what you’re into too! I’ll possibly bring my car and I’m planning to head to some nice hikes and surf beaches (total beginner) when time between school and work allows so you’d be welcome to join for that too. I’m pretty active, into yoga, swims, running, and being European, I love culture, always thirsty for a good concert or an art show. If any of that strikes your interest, please hit me up. It would be fun to find some likeminded individuals to share the living with.

I’m pretty responsible grownup roommate. I pay my rent on time, if not earlier, I wash my dishes, change the roll of TP when it’s finished, take the trash out, respect other people’s belongings and generally treat the house very nicely, it’s my home after all, no matter to whom it belongs! I’d be happy to live with someone who is reasonably tidy too, a sense of humour and any similar interests are a very welcomed bonus! I’ve got plenty of references from the BC and from my house-sharing abroad as well. Can also give personal references if that’s what you’re after. Happy to Skype anytime too to get a better feel of what we’re getting into.
