About the room
I have an interesting share opportunity for the right person. I am a professional semi-retired male who has a very large 925 sq. ft. apartment in the West End. What makes this situation unique is that each year I spend four to six months in the fall and winter down in Palm Springs. Whoever would be sharing the apartment would have the entire thing to themselves during the time that I am away. I am looking for a minimum of a year lease commitment. I have no preference to age but because the bathroom is shared it will probably only appeal to another male. Here is what I am offering. A private very large bedroom, ( fully furnished, or unfurnished if desired), wifi, TV, and utilities for $975 per month. I have converted the dining room into a second bedroom for myself for the months that I am in Vancouver. I think that you would agree that nowhere in downtown Vancouver would you be able to live in an apartment of this size for months at a time for under a thousand dollars a month. My motivation is to find the right person, not make money on the situation. As a bonus, the apartment boasts a beautiful covered balcony to enjoy the warm summer evenings.

I am a business consultant and author. I am very social and enjoy the company of others. I am also highly respectful of other people’s privacy and expect the same in return.
