West 18th Avenue

Hello! We’re 2 roommates, both 30, currently looking for 2 new roommates for our old house. It’s located between Main and Cambie, super close to: 2 Canada Line stops and the 99 BLine; all of the amazing restaurants, cafes, and other shops along Main St; 15 minute walk to the south False Creek Sea Wall, Queen Elizabeth Park and VGH; etc. We even have a cafe less than half a block away! Best neighbours ever.

We have the top 2 floors which is awesome. No more basement dwelling! Some features include: -2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom on each floor -Washer and dryer in basement -An unnaturally big kitchen (by Vancouver standards) with tons of light, hopefully you like plants! I have a few… -Big front covered porch, a southfacing deck in the back with some chairs and room for a barbecue, and a tiny balcony on the top floor for whatever! -Pretty big living room that we tend to not utilize very much! We already have some couches and a coffee table, but there could potentially be space for some small stuff. -Pet friendly! As we’ve only had a cat or 2 over the years, we’d have to ask the landlord about a dog but I don’t think he’d mind. We ourselves are super pet friendly! -We love all people and have no gender preference! This is a safe space for anyone in the LGBTQ+ community.

Utilities usually end up being around $60-$80 a month, which includes any expenses for all communal things like toilet paper, paper towels, and dish soap, cleaning supplies, etc.

As for us, we’re pretty quiet. We’re not opposed to having friends over or anything like that, but as we live next door to our landlord, who is the nicest old man, we don’t party or play super loud music or anything. The landlord has never complained but we don’t want him to have to! The downstairs tenant is super nice and awesome, we’ve never had any problems with him. We are by no means clean freaks, but we do clean up after ourselves and share chores like cleaning your shared bathroom, vaccumming every once in a while, making sure the kitchen’s swept and the dishwasher (yes, an actual dishwasher!) is put away and nothing left in the sink for more than like a day. How you keep your room is up to you, but communal space is always kept clean!
