There’s off-street parking behind the building, but it’s just a 15 minute walk to get downtown, and stops for the 309, 409 and 312 are just steps from the front door. There’s an amazing Chinese restaurant across the street that serves delicious, authentic food, and a Subway, Tim Hortons and a 24-hour Avondale just around the corner.

The available bedroom is spacious: easily large enough to fit a king size bed and still have plenty of room for a dresser and storage. It also has a closet and a very large window for plenty of light and fresh air.

The rest of the apartment also has large windows and lots of light in each room. Aside from the bedroom the majority of the apartment is furnished, including a washer and dryer. Caged pets are allowed, but unfortunately no dogs or cats. Rent includes everything except hydro and internet.

I’m a 32-year-old male looking for a roommate for my two-bedroom apartment. I’m a bit of a nerd; I like to play video games and I collect board games as well. I’m pretty quiet and low-key; not much of a partier. I like to keep the apartment clean and tidy and I’m very respectful of others’ space.

My biggest priority when it comes to finding a compatible roommate is that they are an accepting individual. I have a social circle that includes people of all varieties of sexuality, gender and backgrounds and it’s integral that my living space is one where they feel safe and welcome. If that kind of environment appeals to you we will probably make good roommates.
