About the roomies

My love for marketing and communications has not failed me for over 30 years and has led me to transition to do the same, online for small businesses and local authors.

Writing, another of my passions has given me the opportunity to publish both on national and local levels. Usually, on Tuesdays and Fridays I work at my local church, the rest of the days, I work on my marketing and communications business from my home office.

But, like many, these days find me working from home both, on my part-time job, and also my online marketing business. Also, I can’t wait to get back to volunteer as an assistant exercise leader at the local Community Centre, and at one of Toronto’s Hospitals.

Most mornings, I like to run or walk around the neighbourhood for about 30/40 minutes, it gives me energy for the rest of the day, and keeps me active!

‍I’m a pretty social person, but I also need my alone time. My place is not constantly full of people, but do on occasion have a few friends over. Of course, I’ll let you know in advance and if you’re open to making new friends you’re welcome to join us. If not, no trouble.

You’re most welcome to host small dinner parties - as long as you let me know, days, ahead of the date and time of, the approximate number of people, etc.

We don’t have to be besties, but I am open to doing things like, sharing dinner time with you, occasionally watching TV together and BBQs in summer. But, if you’re not open to these once in a while, we’re probably not a good fit.

I like to do my dishes after every meal. I’m not into finding ‘crusty’ dishes sitting in the sink overnight. An empty sink and clean kitchen in the mornings sets my day. I’m open to the idea of a cleaning schedule to keep things organized (such as the disposal of garbage, general house cleaning, common spaces washrooms, etc).

During the week, I’m usually in bed by 9:45 p.m. and up by 6:30 a.m.. On the weekends, I’m usually asleep by 11 p.m. and up around 9:00 a.m., or earlier, when I have a bi-weekly Zoom coffee hour with my church.

I love to talk, which makes it easy for us to bring up anything about our shared space that’s bothering us.

I don’t smoke, so expect you not to, as well. But, I do enjoy my occasional wine — so if you like to share a drink or two, I wouldn’t be opposed to it.

If you have any questions, let me know. If you’re still looking for a place in the Don Mills and York Mills area introduce yourself!

I’m a friendly, (sometimes funny) considerate, clean, responsible female professional. If this sounds like you, too, send me a message.
