Hi, looking to rent my room to someone extremely clean, quiet, considerate, knows how to live in harmony with others and respects privacy! I’m working from home and will live with family until work needs me back in Toronto again.

Date: May-Oct. 2021. Dates are flexible, but min. 6 months.

You: - Has attention to detail, respectful, comfortable with communicating directly

• MUST clean up after yourself and share basic household tasks, e.g. clean washroom, sweep/vacuum common areas, take out own trash/recycling. It’s a very clean and quiet house, so this MUST be respected.
• Share 1 washroom with 1 housemate
• No drugs, smoking, parties (of course)

Room: 2nd floor of a condo townhouse, single bed, spacious desk, closet, small shelf, dresser, chair, window with a bright view.

Amenities:

• WiFi, all utilities (A/C, heat, electricity, hydro)
• washer/dryer
• vacuum
• kitchen (stove, kettle, toaster, basic pots + pans. NO MICROWAVE :’( SORRY), pantry and fridge space
• If COVID restrictions ever lift, there’s also a gym, pool, study room.

Area:

• Quiet, but 1-min. to Yonge St. and super convenient to transit, pharmacy, bank, restaurants.
• 10-min. walk to Finch TTC subway (!), GO Bus Terminal, Viva.
• 1-min. to TTC 97 bus stop, GO bus stop.
• 5-min. walk to Metro and H-Mart grocery stores. 10-min. ride to No Frills and Loblaws.

You’d be living with 2 others at the moment:

1. A young civil servant from Ottawa, male and working from home

2. An older but lively lady in her 60s, who’s the house owner. Works an odd job here and there, in and out of the house to take care of her elderly mother. High cleanliness preferences, hence my emphasis on it!
