• Available immediately for $1045/month + hydro (estimated $20/month). Internet is included.
• 1 year lease preferred.

The room:

• measures 8ft11 x 10ft8
• large window that faces onto a tree-lined side street
• closet with shelf
• parquet wood flooring
• ready to be painted!

The apartment:

• Large galley kitchen with lots of storage.
• Big bright east-facing windows in the living room and dining room. (Great for plants, if that’s your thing!)
• Medium-sized balcony.
• I just moved in a month ago and previously lived in a much smaller space, so decorating can be a collaborative effort if you want!
• Main bathroom would essentially be yours. Since there’s an ensuite half-bath in my room, I’ll only use the main bathroom to shower.
• Low scent space. (I get migraines and scents really set them off.)

The building:

• Onsite laundry with card payment.
• Onsite security in the evenings.
• Key fob entry.
• Indoor pool, small gym, sauna, and party room (when it’s not pandemic times)
• Underground parking (available, not included in rent).
• Quiet, clean place that’s very pet-friendly.

• I’m in my mid thirties, retail manager for a local small biz. -Hobbies include crochet, reading, puzzles, lots of tv & Youtube & podcasts, long walks…I was generally a homebody even before the pandemic!
• I’m a non-binary trans person. I use they/them pronouns.
• I have a 12 year old cat. Open to discussing a second pet depending on the pet and person!
• I very rarely drink alcohol. I use cannabis regularly (vape rather than smoke). I prefer to live with someone who’s not a big drinker and doesn’t smoke cannabis indoors or cigarettes at all.
• The #1 quality I look for in a roommate is good communication skills. I’d way rather talk openly and respectfully about needs and boundaries than guess or seethe quietly.
