Looking for two mature housemates to complete our May 1st lease! The person currently in one of the rooms is willing to sublet till June 1st, July 1st, or August 1st so there’s some flexibility with when you could move in. It’s a four-bedroom apartment in a quadplex in the Alwington area. The rooms are $625 and $645/month, which includes internet and heating but doesn’t include the other utilities (maybe $60/month per person) or laundry ($3/load). If you work or study at Queen’s, it’s close to the Isabel Bader Theatre and the Education Building. There are two cats in the apartment, so no more cats or dogs allowed. There is a lovely third-floor balcony with a staircase down to a shared back yard, and the landlords are great about fixing stuff in a timely manner. There is no elevator. Last month’s rent deposit and a landlord reference are required.

Ideally you: – are really careful about following COVID guidelines (we especially want to have very few people coming inside without masks) – can commit to a modest weekly cleaning schedule (e.g. clean the stove and counters one week, mop the next), in addition to cleaning up after yourself daily (dishes, clutter) – are respectful and have good communication skills

22+ preferred. Currently, there are no students in the house, and the youngest person is 29, so this is a great option for someone looking for a lovely home with mature and responsible housemates next spring :)
