Edmonds Street

We will be resigning our contract, but our current roommate has decided to move. The room on the third floor will be available in early December. Great area, right across the street from the Highgate Village shopping centre, and we are located close to the skytrain at Edmonds station.

Rent is $1200/month as the room is huge with a private bathroom and a private balcony outside. It is practically your own apartment upstairs, and only you have acess to the third floor. Bills are not included and we split everything. We already have pretty decent wifi so there is no need to worry about internet. The room itself will be unfurnished, but everything else is furnished as we have already lived here for a year.

We will be staying on the second floor in our current rooms with a shared bathroom. The kitchen, living room, and backyard are all on the main floor. Very spacious areas, we were thinking about buying a BBQ for the backyard during the warmer months. The living room has a fire place, so it is pretty cozy downstairs. Laundry is on the second floor hallway.

The landlord does not accept dogs, only small cats. I currently have a cat in the house already. She doesn’t really get along with other cats besides the ones in my family. She was severely bullied by the cat a previous roommate had, so she is more afraid than anything. If you have a cat, it would have to be taken under consideration, but it should be fine if your cat stays in your room. You would have to pay a pet damage deposit on top of the house deposit in this case.

We also have a storage unit for anything extra that you need to store. The parking garage/trash disposal/storage unit are all in the same area. If you need a parking space, you would have to pay extra for that as well. However, there is a spot designated for our unit.

You will be sharing with me and my friend. There will be three roomies altogether.

I work and go to school full time while the other roomie works full time as well. We are pretty busy people, so when we do get time off, we usually like to relax at home. We are both gamers, but we aren’t relatively loud people. We are just looking for someone we can vibe with. We are pretty friendly and keep to ourselves. I think anyone that stays with us will have a good time here 😊.
