ISO a housemate UNIT: 2 bedroom, main floor unit apartment for April 1st. Open concept kitchen living room space with a private fenced in area outside. Includes washer located in kitchen but no dryer. The room is huge (big enough to fit a King sized bed and also have room for a sofa and much more) with a large built in storage cupboard/wardrobe and has it’s own entrance/exit directly to outside if you wish to use it (or you can just use the main front door).

PRICE: $1150 + utilities (which usually works out around $60 a month each) + internet which I would like to obviously try and get a good deal on. PLEASE NOTE: I have just signed the lease and will be moving in on April 1st and the place currently unfinished.

LOCATION: Bloor/Lansdowne (8 min walk to Lansdowne station) RELATIONSHIP TO UNIT: Leaseholder

LEASE TERMS: I’ve just signed a 1 year lease starting from April 1st under my name. Would like to look for someone to long term sublet the bigger room.

RENT CONTROL: This unit is governed by rent control rules.

ACCESSIBILITY: This unit has stairs.

About me: She/her, work in TV and Film and moved from the UK 5 years ago. I enjoy exploring the city and travelling when possible. I’m looking for someone to share the unit with who’s comfortable being around me and vice versa, who’s happy to clean up after themselves and also work out how we can keep the place relatively clean and tidy together. It doesn’t have to be spotless but a basic level of cleanliness would be great. I work super long hours at work for periods of time so sometimes you may not see much of me and it would be nice when I have some downtime to hang out every now and again if we get on, but obviously I’m respectful of peoples boundaries and space so if you need to be alone that’s ok too. It would be nice not to be strangers when we’re in our communal areas ☺️

Unfortunately I can’t take anyone with cats due to allergies, but other pets can be considered 🐕 LGBTQ+ friendly, 420 friendly (but please all smoking outside and take our neighbours into consideration as there’s a unit above and below) I want this to be a safe space for both of us and if there are issues I hope we could both bring them up in a calm respectful manner so we can find a solution.
