Furnished bedroom in a 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo. Will be available June 1st (maybe as early as May 1st). The room is currently semi-furnished with IKEA Kallax shelves and a double-sized bed frame and mattress. The condo is in a quiet complex that was built in 2017. It is a ground-floor suite with electric heat and an outdoor patio. I have an ensuite so the 4-piece main bath is for your use. There is in-suite laundry. There is Shaw high-speed internet; Apple TV (with Disney+, Crave and Prime); and a Nintendo Wii. The hydro is split 50/50 (averaging $45 to $150 each/2 mos. depending on time of year). No cable or landline currently. The unit comes with a cat, so no additional pets please. The kitchen has all the appliances and gadgets that you could ask for and all the dishes and cutlery are also provided (if you choose). The condos, complex and grounds are all non-smoking (tobacco/marijuana) and no vaping. There is on-street parking and the #6 bus stop is less than a block away. A grocery store is just up the street and the condo is within walking distance of both Mayfair and Uptown Malls. Proof of employment and references will be required.

I am looking for a female roommate who is quiet, respectful, tidy and a non-smoker. No drugs or wild parties. I am a non-smoker. I do not drink, but I don’t mind if you enjoy drinking occasionally. I am in my mid-fifties, work full-time and enjoy a mostly quiet lifestyle. I have two grown/married children and I have two grandchildren; they pop by for a visit occasionally. My 9-year-old cat is named Phoenix and is an exotic breed; he is a Bengal, but he is very mild mannered and a bit aloof. He is an indoor cat ONLY and has always been the lone cat in the house. I love to bake, read and listen to music.
