About the roomies
Please note - this is not a party house. I am looking for like-minded roommates who are clean, tidy, and respectful. It is essential that you like dogs. I foster special-needs dogs for a local rescue, and there is barking when a stranger enters the house (including support staff from Island Health who visit my mother).
The house is occupied by the homeowner (me!) and my 91 year old mother who is bedridden. I am her full-time caregiver. My friend from Calgary has been staying with us and plans to leave at the end of April, at which point the largest room with an ensuite bathroom will also become available.
I am 61 years young and vegan. I am usually quiet but can be a bit of an extrovert as well. My home is my sanctuary, so it is important that we all treat each other with understanding and kindness. I have some physical challenges as well, so am well aware of human rights issues. Some shared time and some private time is my ideal living situation. Thanks for reading my listing - and I look forward to meeting some new roommates!
