Private bedroom in a 3-bedroom duplex (top/bottom) with a backyard. Unfurnished with option to rent furnished for $200 (one-time fee). Shared kitchen, bathroom, powder room (toilet and sink), living room, washer and dryer, and backyard. Rent is $900 and includes all utilities and internet, you will have the biggest room with a large closet. Backyard has a trampoline and there’s an aerial rig in the living room which you are welcome to use when we aren’t using them, as long as you respect the equipment. No Smoking (cannabis or cigarettes, inside or outside). No parking. Lease is ideally on a month-to-month basis, however we are open to negotiation. Available February 1st, 2023. Location is a 20min walk (5min bike) to Algonquin College, 15min walk to College Square Mall (hardware store, grocery store, take-out, goodlife fitness, pharmacy, LCBO), 15min bike to Bayshore Shopping Centre, 5min walk to Pinecrest Park (also has public swimming pool and rink).

I’m an engineer (26f) and my roommate is a massage therapy student (25m). We are both very athletic (I do climbing, dance, acrobatics, hockey, and more and he’s mainly a flipper) and spend most of our free time at our sports. We also enjoy having game nights on occasion and have a nice collection of board games. Neither of us are partiers and we are generally quiet. It’s ok to have get togethers with friends but we don’t want frequent or large parties at the house. We like to keep the common areas relatively clean (somewhere between museum and pigsty). I also have 2 kittens (around 5 months old) who are very friendly – one’s a lap cat and the other is more energetic.
