3-bed apartment (1 room for storage) in a well-furnished and well-stocked apartment. One block away from a metro station in Hochelaga. The room is furnished, but I can remove a few things if you have some of your own furniture. Good quality and big washer (top-loading) and drier. The washer has some electronic problems right now but still works well. It has a jet spray which rinses the clothes well. I plan to buy a new washer soon. Everything is functional and I have a good system for organizing things. The room for rent is a furnished room. I’ve been living in this apartment for 2.5 years and have put a lot of work into it. I rented the spare room to a friend over the past year, but unfortunately he went back to France last month. I am bilingual (French-English). Would prefer someone who is bilingual or speaks French, but I’m open. I prefer to send pics of the apartment in private.

I am 33yo and currently a locksmith. Been mostly working at two hospitals managing the locksmithing departments there on my own. I will be going back to school (McGill) this fall to study IT. I was in Human Resources before. Worked as a mover on the side for 4 years, but I had to stop that last year as I had no time for it. I am versatile and have a lot of interests. I have been working for 2 years with no vacation, so I decided to quit my job and am taking a few months off from next week onward. I live alone at the moment, and if I rent the spare room out, there would be two of us in total. That’s a little bit about myself.

I am very easy going and laid-back. Just note that washing and especially rinsing dishes well is what I am mostly crazy about! I only use biodegradable cleaning products. I keep it as natural as possible. As long as the common spaces are clean, I don’t mind if it’s a bit messy. I like a home that’s warm and cozy. The most important thing to me though is trust. I am allergic to cats and dogs. I eat healthy and keep fit. I like getting out of the city and spending time in nature, especially in the summer. I spend a lot of time meditating these days.

I am open to short-term or long term stays. I only ask that you give one month’s notice before leaving so I can plan ahead. Thanks for reading this!
