One room available in a beautiful 5 bedroom house in the South End, only steps away from Dalhousie campus and a 2 minute walk from the #1 bus stop, with a 10 minute ride to downtown Halifax! I’ll be away from June to the third week of August, and am looking for someone to take my place for the time being. The room is the only one on the first floor, so there’s plenty of privacy! It will come fully furnished with a bed, desk, dresser, clothing rack, bookshelf, mirror, lamps and chairs, and a closet. There are 3 windows in the room so plenty of natural lighting as well! The property includes a front door and backyard, great for summer time chilling. There is a washer and dryer machine located in the kitchen, which also comes fully stocked with dishes and utilities of the sort. There’s a big, beautiful living room right off the kitchen with a fire place, cute furniture, and lots of natural lighting. I’ll get better photos once I move in May 1st! Rent is $750 a month, all utilities included except electricity. Wifi is an additional $20 a month.
You’d be living with 2 fantastic ladies, Maddie and Ellie, both in third-going-on-fourth year at Dal, and another potential sublet. Maddie and Ellie are both in the science program, they both love to sing, dance, do yoga, and both have a passion for animals and the outdoors. They’re also both double vaxxed! Passions include eating good food, listening to music, and having good conversations :) We are vegetarian, LGBT+, weed, and pet friendly people! Maddie will be working most days, and Ellie will be in summer school, but they’ll be around in the evenings! Maddie and Ellie have been my roommates for the past 2 years now, going on 3, and I trust them with my life! They are lovely people who you will love too.
