About the room
The room is on the newly-renovated upper floor of a 110-year old heritage house located in Little Italy, within walking distance to grocery stores, a rec centre and frequent transit connections to the LRT and downtown. If you’re a student, it’s an easy commute to NAIT, MacEwan, and UofA.
Rent: $550/month, all utilities included except cable. Garage parking is also available for an extra charge. $400 Damage Deposit and minimum 3 month lease required, can go month-to-month after 3 months.
Your bedroom will be furnished – Brand new Double/Full bed with mattress protector, dresser, desk, box fan, shelving unit, and wifi repeater. You will get bedsheets, and a brand new duvet cover and pillows. You will be responsible for your own towels and the rest of your bedding.
Other nice things about the house:
- A very large back deck and use of the garden
- Smoking is allowed outside
- Can use all common areas except the main floor study which I use as my office
No dogs or cats permitted – other pets are negotiable.

About the roomies
You’ll only have one other person living in the house: the owner! I’m a mid-30’s gay man who enjoys reading, cooking, and occasional going to the gym, and works a full-time office job. My job is a hybrid schedule, so I do work a couple days a week from home.
