Shelbourne Street

I am renting out my unfurnished room in a 1 bedroom + 1 den / one bathroom suite. This suite will be available for rent as of May 1, 2023 for a one year lease and continue month to month after that. Den has been converted to another bedroom and that is the space that is being advertised as the other bedroom is currently occupied by the other tenant.

As referred to in the photos attached, there is enough space for a large wardrobe, desk, as well as a twin bed while having tons of room. The bed photographed was a daybed that converted out into an approximately just over a queen sized bed. With that being said there was still space to move around the bed as well as access the desk and wardrobe while the day bed was pulled out. The room is also equipped with a small closet that has been great for additional personal storage. A lovely addition to the room is a balcony that has been used privately or with permission for the other tenant to enjoy. There is lots of privacy due to the fact there aren’t only roller blinds that completely cover the windows but a tree that blocks a large majority of the view into the suite. Common areas include the kitchen, living room and bathroom. I will note that the living room will be unfurnished as of the move date for I will be taking those when I move out.

Rent includes water and heating. The only utilities that you have to cover with the roommate is internet and electricity . Parking is not included within the rent price as well. An additional monthly payment of $40/ month would be required for a spot in the lot. If extra storage is needed for a bike or personal items, those are both located on the lower floor of the apartment building with an additional monthly charge . At the moment I am unsure of the deposit but information will be provided soon. The suite is not equipped with in suite laundry but there is a coin operated washer and dryer located in the building as well as a laundromat located just down the street. There are bus stops located very close by that follow routes to downtown, uptown, and the university. If there are any questions about the available unit please contact me anytime!

The tenant remaining is in her 20s and in school full-time as well working outside those hours. You’ll have the opportunity to meet the roommate before move in of course so you’ll be able to connect and ask any personal questions.
