About the room
This is a private room in a 2 bedroom apartment. The apartment is a flat in a three story house with amazing neighbours and landlord. There is free all day unmetered street parking with a driveway available during the winter parking ban. Utilities (internet and electricity) are shared. There are two private patios (furnished). Shared spaces include: office with guest day bed (pulls out to a king), dining room and living room. All of the shared spaces are furnished. There is access to a shared unfinished basement with designated area used for storage with a deep freezer and plenty of space. There is three private entrances to the unit. Lawn care is taken care of by the landlord but tenants are responsible for snow removal (landlord will snow blow if he is home). The apartment is located near quinpool and oxford along major bus routes and quick access to the armdale rotary. There is no smoking, no parties as per lease, and no pets (however once and a while a goldendoodle comes for sleepovers). The apartment has brand new south facing windows, and the each room has large windows providing lots of natural light. It is heated by natural gas radiator heating, heat and water are provided. The kitchen has lots of storage and is fully stocked with dishes and cookware
About the roomies
I am a 29 year old nurse with rotating shift schedule of early days and overnight shifts so respect of this schedule are required. I rotate with 4 shifts on and 5 off, I try to get out of the house often on my days off. I would work best with someone who does not work from home and is able to be respectful of the early mornings and having to sleep in the day between night shifts!
I also run a side business of selling art prints so I use the office from time to time to paint, package and dispatch orders, but the space is welcome to be shared. I love to cook and keep a clean space, as well as host dinners and drinks from time to time.
