Hi! We are renting out a large master bedroom (16’-8“ x 11’-11“) furnished with Walk-In-Closet (4’-11“ x 7’-11“) and attached full private bathroom September 1 until February 1 with the possibility of extension. There is a full on view of the Chief and peek-a-boo views of the marina.

About the communal space: This is a 975 square foot, two-bedroom condo on the second floor (bedrooms separated by living space) and you will have a roommate. We have a roomy, fully equipped kitchen, in-suite washer and dryer, gas fireplace and balcony. Our place is kept very tidy and everyone pitches in.

About the location: It is very conveniently located in the outskirts of downtown Squamish. It is within two blocks of two grocery stores and walking distance to everything downtown including the Saturday market. If needing to catch a bus to Vancouver or Whistler, the condo is within walking distance of bus pick-up locations.

About the building: The Marina Estates is a quiet building and we barely hear the neighbours however, it is a wood structured building and the walls and floors are not soundproof. Residents are mindful of this and you will need to be too. There is a rec. centre with a workout room, a bike and car cleaning station. There is street parking and bike lock-up in the underground parkade (however not recommended for expensive bikes).

Cost: $1400 all-inclusive. Couples ok.

Things to consider: -Other than the large room and walk-in-closet, there’s no extra storage. -Suite doesn’t have a TV -Suite doesn’t have air-conditioning (non issue in the fall and winter) -No pets -No parties -No smoking on strata property (strata bylaws)

Your roommate is a lovely soul and loves to climb. She’s cheerful, easy-going and tidy. She’s out rock climbing almost daily, works full time and may be away for the month of November.
