Looking for 1 female roommate to share upper floor in a beautiful, renovated home with large windows viewing trees and amazing gardens. Upgraded fixtures, granite counter tops, bamboo floors. Located in a quiet and friendly neighbourhood in Courtenay, not far from downtown. Roommate agreement can be set for 4- 6 months and can possibly be renewed for the right person.

This quiet bedroom has no other bedrooms or living areas above, below, or to the sides (except for a hallway). You would have your own bathroom and fridge/ freezer. The kitchen, living room, laundry room, covered porch and outdoor space is shared. Bedroom is partially furnished with shelves (built into part of one wall), desk with table, and a wardrobe closet. Sorry – no pets allowed (and for those who are allergic, there are also no pets in the house). Also, no excess alcohol or drugs (including recreational drugs/ 420) or smoking of any type on the property.

Looking for someone who:

• is clean, considerate and would be ok with a 10 pm – 7 am quiet hours.
• (ideally) works during the day not from home. This way our schedules will mostly be opposite (I work 2-10 pm) and each of us can enjoy some time having the shared spaces to ourselves.
• (ideally) loves to garden and is interested / wants to grow their own food (there is a greenhouse and irrigation system)

The other bedroom and shared space is occupied by a female in her late 40s who is friendly, respectful and loves to garden. She also does not smoke, drink excessively or take recreational drugs. There are no pets on the property.
