Looking for a male roommate to share a large, modern 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom townhouse apartment (ground floor) at Birchmount Rd and Lawrence in Scarborough.

You will be sharing with a young adult male with high-functioning autism, who has already been living independently with support for 2.5 years. You will have your own bedroom and a full bathroom. The rest of the apartment is shared and fully furnished. We are looking for an easy going person with life experience to provide guidance and support on a part time basis (12 hrs/week), to help him to navigate social situations in the community and to develop further skills to increase independence. In exchange for the mentoring support, you will have greatly reduced rent - only paying half the utilities (approx 150/month). Internet and tv cable is included. There is a cat in the unit. We prefer someone with previous experience with people that have autism or developmental disabilities.
