We are wrapping up the finals months in our beautiful upstairs 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment in a large house in SE Vancouver near Fraser St. (map is wrong). We are currently following up with 3 interested individuals. Move-in date somewhat flexible, September 12th would be ideal. Our lease is up on Nov 30th 2023. It may be possible to extend directly with the landlord.

Bright, spacious and clean. Large furnished common areas: living room, open-concept dining room, kitchen and glass porch. Washer/dryer in main level entryway. Internet and utilities are pretty affordable, $45-55/month, depending on use and cold weather.

Rent for the double bed furnished room with window, small dresser, closet and shared bathroom should be below $860/month with utilities included. Sept rent would be discounted, obviously. If predictability is important to you, we can set rent all-included at $860/month as long as you use utilities and heat responsibly. Room can be unfurnished if you prefer.

In southeast Vancouver, we have quick bus access to the Canadian or Expo SkyTrain lines and to UBC along 49th Ave (2 blocks away), 30mins to downtown. We are 1/2 a block from Fraser St, the map is wrong. Street parking is available. Claire is the leaseholder with the landlord, roomies sign a sublease agreement with Claire. No pets are allowed in the house, as specified in the lease agreement, sorry.

We are mature professionals in our late 30s to early 40s. A Canadian Chilean mental health worker and Anglo Quebec nurse, medium to very tidy. We value clean common areas, but don’t freak out if something’s out of place for a day.

What matters most is getting along well. We’ve had wonderful roomies so far… Tell us about yourself!

We are looking for someone who is trustworthy, with not too much stuff would be good, though all of the space in the bedroom is completely your own. Bonus points for ASL, Portuguese and Spanish speakers. No issues with cannabis, just no smoking in the house. :)
