About the room
kind, easy-going, tidy roommate wanted π¦ππ»
About the place: Right across from Macewan building 5, and a 1 minute walk to MacEwan LRT station and multiple bus stops, so easy access to UofA, NAIT, grocery stores, shoppingβ¦pretty much everything! You would have your own private bathroom and the room can come unfurnished or furnished at no extra cost. The unit is south facing, so nice and bright, with in-suite laundry and dishwasher, and laminate floors. It also faces an enclosed courtyard, which hides a lot of the downtown noise. Is within walking distance of pretty much everything but parking stalls are available if needed. Gym in building, 24/7 security on site. Rent is 800/month plus half of electricity/internet (usually ~30 each). Heat and water included. LGBTQ+ friendly, safe and cozy, all genders welcome! β€π³οΈβπ
*my current housemate has to move back to France which makes me very sad π Iβm not in a hurry to find someone as I want to reside with someone with similar views & ways of living.
accessibility: there are elevators, and a key fob system for the entrances, but none of those automatic βpush to openβ buttons.
About the roomies
about me: Iβm a full-time student (psyc major/gender studies minor) at MacEwan. I love painting, reading, occasionally playing video games, trying new recipes, and all things outdoors (camping, hiking, skiing, etc.). I find enjoyment in making cookies at the most random times and making everyone eat them π
who you are: hopefully awesome, respectful, fun, and willing to clean up after yourself, contribute to keeping the shared spaces clean, & practice open communication to make sure the space is safe & comfortable. Ideally, Iβd want someone that likes their own space but also values time spent together doing old granny things like playing cards or making dinner together haha
pets: although I donβt own any pets myself, I do volunteer with an animal rescue, so sometimes I foster kittens. I also dog-sit for my neighbour now and then. Iβm open to you having a pet, so long as they get along well with others :)
