It’s a big house with a basement (lots of storage room), a main floor, second floor with the 2 bedrooms, and a 4th floor open loft area. There are also two full bathrooms (both with showers + tubs), one on the main floor and one on the second. There is a small partially fenced front yard, and a large balcony off the second floor (amazing in the warmer months). Washer, dryer, dishwasher. The house is pet friendly (the dog in the photo is mine, so will be coming with me). There’s only street parking but I’ve never really had a problem finding a spot. Rent is $597.50/month plus hydro (usually around $70-$100 in the summer and $100-$150 in the winter each). There’s a corner store across the street for any basic needs, and walking distance to bigger stores (Shoppers, Fresh Co, Food Fare)

I have lived here for 3.5 years and have loved this house but will be moving to Ontario so I’m looking for someone to take over my lease (up for renewal September 1st). My roommate moved in 1.5 years ago (we found each other on this site) and we’ve gotten along great. She goes to university, and is doing her practicum at a near by school for teaching. She enjoys baking, reading, outdoors + fitness, as well as checking out events in the city. She’s a respectful roommate; quiet, tidy and considerate.
