I am Kyle, a happy, easy going 25 year old man with an intellectual disability and (well controlled epilepsy). I love any kind of music, Tim Hortons coffee, campfires, watching youtube and playing farm simulator. I am working towards moving away from my parents house into my condo, but I need some help with things as I cannot read or write and don’t always know what to do to keep safe. I can do most things on my own but need reminding of when to do them etc. I am looking for a roommate who will help me keep organized, remind me to get ready for the bus in the mornings, help me prepare my food, help me take medication, and support me in navigating the world around me. In exchange for my roommate’s support they will have their rent reduced. For example, if someone can support me regularly outside of my day programs, they would not have to pay rent. It is a unique arrangement but my parents know there is someone out there who would enjoy helping me live my life.
