Deerfield Drive

The room is medium-sized (can provide dimensions upon request) for a person that doesn’t require a lot of space.

It’s on the top floor of a 4-level townhouse; i.e Basement and Garage, Foye, level floor - living room/kitchen etc, guest bathroom and then the 3 out of 4 bedrooms.

We have decent central heating, both washrooms have a shower one of you would share with another roommate and me. Unless you want to discuss it with the roommate that utilizes the guest washroom.

At present, due to no one having a car, a neighbour is using the driveway so until further notice you would have to, unfortunately, find another means of parking if you have a vehicle.

There is a decently sized back porch area behind the house for warmer weather hangouts and such. The walls are thin so there is occasional noise coming from neighbours but I haven’t found it to be too much trouble.

The structural integrity of the place is definitely made with students in mind, but the company we rent from is relatively on top of any concerns we’ve ever had about repairs and the like.

There are 4 of us total and 2 of them are moving out. The first one for April and the other is available in May.

Riley (Myself) - Thirty-One yrs - He/Him - Transgender (FTM) I am; -Neurodivergent

• Gamer/DnD/Comics, etc Nerd
• Particular in how chores are carried out but can be lenient where needed
• I have a cat named Artemis and she is a big sucky baby (so you must like cats and if allergic I have meds at the ready at all times) -Direct communication -I work from home so I will likely be around the most -Harry Potter Nerd despite she who shall not be named
• Equally Four Twenty Friendly/Partakes

What we look for in a roommate:

-Preferably similar to us as you’ve read above or at least one who is versed in navigating and getting along with those of neuro-spicy nature.

-Capable of keeping common areas clean and efficient in chores assigned/delegated amongst everyone.

-Equally communicates honestly and directly. If there are issues more sensitive you are more than welcome to bring them up with me and we can work on them together for an outcome that benefits everyone in the household; nothing is too big or small to bring up.

• Noise past a particular time of night; let’s say 2-3 am, for example, it is preferred to be kept at a minimum (I am a light sleeper depending, but unless it’s a real problem I’m likely to ignore it.)

• Must be accepting of those in the household that practice Paganism and other alternatives in lifestyle.

• Is capable of ‘tolerating’ any singing (joining in is welcome) and or music blaring (during shower times on average) from either of us

• If you are on the spectrum yourself, you are safe here! Do not hesitate to voice any specific needs or requirements you may need to make this a comfortable home to live in.

• Artemis, my cat will likely love you and always want attention so be prepared for that as well.
