I am looking to sublet my room in the Annex Residence at the University of Ottawa from May 1st (or a couple of days earlier) to August 25th. The residence is only a 7min walk away from the main campus.

It is a fully furnished apartment with a private bedroom and bathroom (in a 5-bedroom unit). Only the common spaces are shared with roomates (kitchen and living room). All utilities are also included in rent price (water, gas, electricity, wifi and laundry).

There is also a game room in the 2nd floor that all residents can use.

Subletting can only be done with a post-secondary student only and in this case females are preferred (the other roomates are all females).

Rent is 875$ per month + a deposit of 150$ to ensure the reservation (it will be deducted from the last month of rent).

Je cherche à sous-louer ma chambre dans la résidence Annexe de l’Université d’Ottawa du 1er mai (ou un peu avant) au 25 août. La résidence est à seulement 7 minutes à pied du campus principal.

Il s’agit d’un appartement entièrement meublé avec une chambre et une salle de bains privées (dans un appart à 5 chambres). Seuls les espaces communs sont partagés avec les colocataires (cuisine et salon). Tous les services sont également inclus dans le prix du loyer (eau, gaz, électricité, wifi et machine à laver).

Il y a aussi une salle de jeux au 2e étage que tous les résidents peuvent utiliser.

La sous-location ne peut se faire qu’avec un étudiant post-secondaire et les femmes sont préférées (les autres colocataires sont toutes des femmes également).

Le loyer est de 875$ par mois + un dépôt de 150$ pour assurer la réservation (qui sera déduit du dernier mois de location).

All the girls are really nice. One of them won’t be here for the summer so only three of them will be around. Everyone is usually in their respective rooms and just go to the common spaces to cook or watch TV. If you want to just co-live with them and not be disturbed, it is possible (and it is kind of what I do, I’m pretty introverted), but if you’d like to make some friends while living here, they will probably be open to it :)
