Second Street

My name is Danica and I own and manage a bed and breakfast business, Queens Park Suites, in New Westminster. It’s a very large heritage home with so much room to share. I live on the first two floors of my home and the suites are on the 3 and 4th floors. My children have moved out and left large bedrooms up for grabs. Of course, finding the right person (or couple) is paramount, but I’m sure that person is out there! We’re located in a perfect scenario for transit, via train or bus or vehicle. We’re very close to all amenities, beautiful parks and a lovely community. We’re on a really safe, quiet and beautiful street with plenty of parking. We have a large yard to share!

I am an interior designer by trade. At the moment I’m working mostly from home, managing a 5 suite bed and breakfast. I live downstairs, and the suites are completely separate from my home. Most of the time it’s just me and my cats. However, I have a partner who will sometimes stay overnight. He also helps me to maintain the business and the house. Sometimes his son will also stay. When he does, he has a bedroom of his own.

There is plenty of room in the bedroom, as you can see. I am open to a single woman or a couple. I’m interested in finding someone who is respectful with noise and cleanliness. A peaceful and safe environment, both physically and emotionally, are priorities. Also, I have a very strict rule about smoking- any kind- only happens outside.

There’s a queen sized bed, a sofa, a flat screen tv with Amazon Firestick, a large walk in closet, a desk and plenty of storage. Free laundry is included as well.

I love all pets, but because I am the loving owner of cats, I can’t have any other pets staying in my home. It would definitely stress them out. They’re absolutely lovely with all people.

I don’t actually have a maximum length of stay, but the system requires that I put something down. Before having that discussion I believe we’d need to test the waters and see if it’s a fit.
