TWO BEDROOM BASEMENT SUITE - I am a senior woman with a two-bedroom basement suite available for rent June 15th. Rent is $1,700 for a suite with a queen bedroom and a double bedroom. Heat, hydro, water, AC and internet included. This is a shared accommodation situation suitable for one or two women or one couple - one three-piece bathroom, kitchenette and lounge area with TV, couch and bookshelves.
Queen bedroom - queen bed, a sitting area with gas fireplace, a study nook with desk and built-in bookshelf. The Double bedroom has a double bed, walk in closet, storage bench, bureau and a laptop table.
The kitchenette has the basic cooking pots and pans and plates, cutlery and glasses. It is equipped with an induction cooker, microwave and mini-oven (think 12-inch pizza) and two fridges. When a full oven is needed the stove in the main kitchen upstairs can be used.

There are hooks in the garage for a bike. It is a lovely commute to Carleton U or Ottawa U through Mooney’s Bay Park and on to Col By Drive cycle path. Parking available in a driveway that would be shared. $30/month. This is non smoking/non vaping house

I am an active senior who sometimes travels. I live in the upstairs of a townhouse bungalow. I bike, hike, paddle and ride horses as well as volunteer for a not-for-profit housing initiative. I like the arts, music, NAC orchestra and live theatre.
