Large, private fully furnished bedroom in a beautiful 900-square-foot apartment located in the heart of the West End. Two blocks from both English Bay and Stanley Park and two blocks south of Denman Steet and public transit. The bedroom comes with all of the bedding and bathroom linens that are required and the room is furnished with a very comfortable queen size bed, as well as a desk and sitting area for watching television. There are no shared walls with other apartments. Internet, cable and utilities are also all included in the rent. This is a shared bathroom situation so it is best suited to a male tenant but females are welcome to apply. The only costs in addition to the rent are for laundry which is located in the building and personal apartment insurance, which is a requirement of the master lease.

This will be a unique opportunity for the right person. I am a semi-retired businessman who spends several months each year in southern California. My top priority is finding the right person who I can trust implicitly during the periods that I am away. Over the past ten years, I have had the great pleasure to enjoy the company of four excellent roommates from all over the world.

While the room will be available as early as July 1st, I am in no hurry to let it out. The chemistry and the credential are a critical part of how I make my choice. Anyone applying will be required to show proof of long-term employment as well as both work and personal character references. In addition, I am looking for an individual who leaves the apartment to go to work. I already work from home and have found it works much better when I have the space to myself during the day.
