About the room

130 sq. ft. private room and own bathroom in 2bd 2ba on the third floor of a lofty Queen West walk up to be shared with myself.

Rent includes all utilities, content insurance, wifi and all major video-on-demand services.

The apartment overall is 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and has a massive common area with vaulted ceilings for living & dining, as well as a well-equipped chef’s kitchen with gas stove & dishwasher. A small office sits just adjacent the living room. There is also a private 1600sq. ft. deck with piped audio and a vintage Webber gas grill. A free washer and dryer is available on site, shared with 2 other apartments. Bike storage is available in an onsite garage, however car parking in not available.

The bedroom for rent is south facing with lots of natural light and a generous closet with built ins. The bedroom/bathroom can be furnished for an additional $50/mo although the content in photos will be leaving with my current roommate who is moving in with his partner. Separate unshared bathroom features a clawfoot tub/shower with very strong water pressure.

I’m seeking a similarly tidy and mature non smoking (vaping ok,) preferably gay male professional for a 6 month, single occupancy sublet to start, with the possibility to convert to yearly based on flatmate compatibility.

About the roomies

The apartment is shared with me, a late-30s single gay male working in tv production. Interests include design & decor, vintage anything, hiking, biking and yoga. I tend to have an irregular schedule, with contracts lasting anywhere between a few days to two to three weeks with stretches of time off in between. I also work some days from home, other days up before dawn to be on set. I appreciate honest communication, compromise, and respect for one another, and I’m admittedly on the more obsessive side of clean and neat when it comes to the shared space and would appreciate finding someone similar.
