My current roomate is moving out, so I’m looking for someone to fill their space! You will have your own bedroom, bathroom, and underground parking space. The apartment has a fully furnished kitchen, living room, and patio, in-suite laundry, as well as wifi and streaming services to enjoy. The bedroom is unfurnished, so you can add your own personal touch! Rent is $1000 with a minimum 6 month rental, $500 damage deposit with first months rent.

Unit is located in “The Rio” near the heart of Maple Ridge with shopping, groceries, transit, parks, and much more near by. Within walking distance of the local library, theatre, and Leisure Center.

Building has a two pet policy and I have two cats, so unfortunately no more pets can be in this unit.

Hi my name is Shelby! I’m 27 years old and work as an education assistant for the Maple Ridge school district. I live in my current apartment with my roommate Cynthia (who is moving out in September to be closer to work) and my two cats Hugo and Gigi.

I am a friendly and cheerful person who is easy to get a long with. I love cooking and baking, so I don’t mind making the food (most of the time) if you’ll help me clean up after and chip in a bit for the groceries. I don’t tend to have a huge appetite, so it’s hard to cook for just one. Having someone to take the other half of my food would actually be pretty great!

Hugo (back and white) is a friendly and affectionate cat who loves everyone and anyone who enters the suite within 10 minutes of meeting them, he is a bit mischievous and stubborn at times but more than makes up for it in cuddles and near endless affection. Gigi (creamy orange) is a sweet little girl with a very shy personality, it takes her time to warm up to people and she prefers to be on her own but once you’ve earned her trust she is a massive suck up who ADORES belly rubs while lying on the couch or bed.

What I’m really looking for someone I can (hopefully) be able to be friends with or at least pleasant acquaintances. Daily life can be a bit messy and chaotic for everyone sometimes, so being able to work together to keep our living space going is very important to me. Having someone that likes cats is a must too, because Hugo is my little shadow, wherever I go he follows.
