Katie & Matt's room

Hey! We have two rooms up for grabs. Our current house mate is moving in with his partner and as such we are looking for someone to take his place. Move in date is 1st of Jan but can be flexible depending on dates. This room is upstairs, spacious and comes unfurnished - with the option to purchase current furnishings from leaving housemate. Our other house mate is moving town and his room will be available from 1st of Feb. This room is downstairs and slightly smaller but still a comfortable size, semi furnished. Both these sub-leases are until May 31st, 2024. Single occupancy per room only. Price is $800/month rent with $150/month extra for utilities and internet. Total $950/month per room all included.

You’ll be sharing with a couple (M and F) who have the main bedroom. We (the couple) are early 30s, both full time working professionals who enjoy dancing, climbing and outdoors activities. We are looking for friendly, communicative and tidy house mates of similar ages to join the team.

Located in Old Glenmore the house is modern with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, open plan living, dining and kitchen area. The house is fully furnished and kitchen fully stocked. There is a storage/bike shed and outdoor patio space also. As per the landlord this is a non smoking, no pet or party house. Cleanliness is important to us and as such we are looking for a person who is likeminded. We also do not wish to have a roommate who works from home as unfortunately there is no space for this.

Matt - I’m a boilermaker/pipe welder. Relaxed and easy going. Enjoy a chat and also my own space. Hobbies include music, skydiving, snow spots, hiking, climbing, camping, travel. Recently moved from Australia.
