Hi! Me (30-something working female) and my cat, Georgie, are looking for a roommate to share our sunny, top-floor 2BR/2BA apartment until March 2024. The place is furnished and your room can come with or without a bed but you’ll have to supply any other bedroom furniture you need. The room is available immediately.

The apartment is in the cultural/brewery district in downtown Kelowna. It’s about a 20-minute walk to Bernard, groceries, City Park, and the bus depot. Less than 5 minutes walking to some awesome breweries. There’s street parking available and I’m on a waitlist for a second parking pass. There are awesome views over Knox and Dilworth from the patio and all the windows.

We have bike storage and a locker, and there’s a secure mailroom for your online shopping deliveries. There’s also a gym on the second floor!

Georgie is well-socialized, well-behaved 85% of the time, friendly and very cuddly. She loves to play (with you or by herself, she doesn’t care) and sleeps most of the day. I’d love to find a roommate who would be willing to feed and play with her and clean her litter box when I go out of town for work, which isn’t very often.

I’m a full-time government employee who works from home. I’m tidy (Georgie isn’t, sorry!) and respectful, a non-smoker and only drink occasionally. My hobbies include going to the gym, going out with friends, board games, “hiking,” and anything food related. I’m an introverted extrovert so I value my alone time but I go out regularly after work and on weekends, so you can have the place to yourself for hours on end. I’d love to have a roommate I can be friends with and do social things together but I am also happy doing my own thing.
