This vape/smoke-free and pet-free home is situated in the heart of old Aurora at Yonge and Wellington, a peaceful family-oriented neighborhood that is close to amenities and green spaces.

If you are looking for a quiet and peaceful place to live, read on.

This accommodation would suit a student or single person who works out of the home. No couples. No individuals who work from home need apply.

It is a century home on a beautifully treed lot. The bedroom is in the fully finished basement and backs out onto the backyard. There are panoramic windows across the north side of the room so there is plenty of natural light and a view of the “forest”.

The room has been freshly painted and professionally cleaned.

The room is 9 x 18’ with 7.5-foot high ceilings. You would have your own bathroom which has laundry that would be shared with the landlord.

The room comes fully furnished with a queen size bed, linens, bookcase, chair, and ottoman, desk, and office chair. There are built-in closets in the room.

There is a sitting area in the basement. You would have access to the main kitchen as well. You would have fridge, freezer and cupboard space. The kitchen is stocked with various gadgets for the foodies at heart.

You would have access to a designated parking space.

The house is close to Yonge and Wellington. Access to bus and Go train are a short walk.

The homeowner is a high school teacher, who has two students away at post-secondary education. Both work away for the summers as well. A third member is a retired teacher, present on weekends. All of us are excellent communicators and we will address concerns respectfully. We strive to keep our home peaceful and happy. Due to the nature of our work, all have undergone background checks/vulnerable sector screening.

The residents have bedrooms on the top floor. We also have our own bathroom and another 3 pc bathroom on the main floor. As such you will have good privacy.

We will honour your privacy but we are also open to spending some time with you.

We are quiet and tidy folk. We do not smoke or vape or do drugs so no need to apply if you do.

This lodging would be great for a neat, quiet, academically oriented student or single person who works outside of the home.
