This is a fantastic, 2bedroom 2bath new build (we would be the first tenants!!) a 20-minute walk from Sunnybrook Hospital, just south of Eglington and Bayview. The available room is the secondary bedroom measuring about 9ft by 9ft, and there is a bathroom down the hall that will be mostly yours. I can likely provide a (lightly used) twin mattress for that room, lmk if you would be interested in that. The apartment has all new appliances, in-unit laundry, loads of storage in the unit, and parking/storage units available for rent. Though the unit itself does not have a balcony, amenities include a stunning, gorgeous, amazing rooftop pollinator garden with 2 barbeques and space for hosting, a party room, lounge, and fitness room, all with outdoor spaces. This apartment is right on a bus line (11), and a 20-minute walk to the Eglington subway. There is a grocery store and pizza shop on the first floor of the apartment complex. My name is Sophie, I’m 22 years old, and working at Sunnybrook Hospital with the aim of going back to school in the next few years for some kind of clinical psychotherapy or clinical psychology research. I graduated in 2022 with a degree in interdisciplinary arts and sciences, double majored in psychology, neuroscience, and behaviour. I love music, crafts, and stand-up comedy. I play guitar, piano, teach ukulele with Community Living, and love to go to open mics or karaoke nights. I’ve also really gotten into spin class lately, which I feel absolutely no shame saying out loud (or typing on the internet). I like to be outside, go on walks, and get little treats. I don’t smoke, but I don’t mind if you do (as long as you do it outside and it doesn’t smell too much). I don’t have any pets that live with me, but I do sometimes care for my parent’s dog. I’m looking for someone who is clean, kind, and amenable to working together to keep the place a cozy and relaxing atmosphere (quiet hours on weeknights kinda thing?).
