Diane's room

We are in older section of Brantford that has a lot of charm & character. The neighborhood is clean and quiet! Google maps says it is a 5 min. drive/ 15 min. bus ride/ & 25 min. walk to Conestoga or Laurier. The bus stop is only 1 block away. We are close to Brant Ave. & St. Pauls Ave. All sorts of amenities are near by or just a short bus ride away. Also close to parks, trails & river access. Your room is on the main floor, off the kitchen, which we share. There are PLENTY of shelves and a roomy closet that also has shelves inside. The room is a good medium size at the front of the house with a great sized window that looks out on the porch/street. Our 2 rooms are upstairs as is the shared 4 pc. bathroom. So it will be difficult to disturb each other. There is usually on street parking within our block if needed. The laundry machines are in the kitchen, so very handy. You will be required to provide your own laundry & bathroom essentials, food, and we can discuss your needs in terms of dishes, cutlery and cooking utensils.

We are two senior friends (a male & female) renting the front part of an older home with a spare room. We are out most of the day and usually part of the evening, so you won’t see us too often! Once home, we usually sit on the porch or watch TV/movies. We have a good sense of humour and are pretty easy to get along with. If you’re a student, we may be like your grandparents away from home! We do have a cat that likes to go outside, but he may try to visit you too.
