Cottage style country living in the City. The room is located on Toronto islands. It is a 10 minute ferry ride to downtown Toronto and is car free. It is located in one of the most coveted areas in Canada, due to its unique location, strong caring community, easy access to Toronto and a complete getaway from the hustle of living downtown. This is a room rental in the downstairs section of a home. I have my own section at the front of the home. This space is mostly yours to occupy sharing bathroom and kitchen space which includes a washer and dryer and sitting and porch areas. The upstairs unit is a private apartment which is now rented.

I am looking for a quiet but communicative person to rent a room in this house. I enjoy conversation and respecting the wishes of others. I am flexible when requests are made but prefer those who do not have a history of drama or unreasonable expectations. This is a retreat-like atmosphere, perfect for the creative souls who write, study , read or enjoy nature.
