Location: East 2nd Ave Vancouver All genders, sexuality, ages, ethnicities, and people are welcome.

BRAND NEW, beautiful, clean & fully furnished laneway house with a spare room for rent! 1 x Room, in a 3 bedroom home. Bathroom: 1 shared bathroom upstairs, by your bedroom, and 1 communal washroom downstairs. Washer and Dryer included. Entertainment: we have most of the streaming services on the TV downstairs. WiFi: Wifi 6, depending on your device, download speeds are upwards of 250 Mbps, upload 60 Mbps and above.

Option 1. All items are like new, and only 10 months old! Originally bought for $865 in total. Furnished with double bed frame with drawers, & foam mattress, table, & chair: $ 535 total! Double bed: includes bed frame with drawers, 3 pillows, duvet, foam mattress, : $465. Table & chair: $70 for both. Rent at $1200. Bills are not included.

Option 2. Unfurnished. $1200, bills are not included.

Rent is to be deposited on the 23rd of every month. Deposit: $600. Move date: 29th NOV - 1st DEC 2023. (Please note that the price may change if the landlord increases the rent, as we are almost at the end of our lease, though they have confirmed that we can renew for another year. However, do appreciate that most of this is out of our control).

Proof of employment is required/open to discussing your circumstances - we just want to know that you can make rent and bills.

Length of lease: we’re presently looking at 6 months. There MAY be a chance to extend, but we’re unsure at this stage. Should you decide to leave the residence before 6 months, we require 2 months’ notice to start the rental search.

We’re both clean, respectful, kind, considerate, friendly, financially organised and stable working professionals. We are looking for like-minded people. Both of us are actors; one also works in mental health (30s he/him gay/queer) and the other in hospitality (20s he/him straight).

We value trust and communication and want to find a third who is interested in sharing the house and values the above. We like to be social but also understand and respect when one needs space. We will be splitting household items equally. We want to create a space where we all feel safe, welcome, relaxed, and like family. We value clear communication, house meetings, hangouts, and love developing a supportive bond for one another whilst respecting each other’s boundaries.

We will be working from home occasionally and require someone who is respectful of that. We’re not partiers or heavy drinkers but don’t mind the occasional party here or there. We are more of a dinner, movie night, board games, friends over to socialise than a “let’s get effed up” household.
