Hi all! Looking for a sublet for the winter semester, January 1st to April 31st 2024. We live in a furnished single house in the Mary Allen neighbourhood, which is a bit quieter but incredibly cozy and friendly. The bedroom is on the second floor, 9’7“ by 10’9“, with lots of natural light and a closet. It is currently unfurnished for the term, but there may be the opportunity to furnish for an added fee per month (will update soon if this option is available). There are 4 bedrooms total, and 2.5 baths shared between 4 housemates. Utilities and wifi are included in rent and there is in-house laundry. We have one free parking spot onsite.

Our house is conveniently located close to uptown and is a 10 minute walk to nearby grocery stores like Walmart and Sobeys. It is 20 minutes by public transit to both the University of Waterloo and Wilfrid Laurier University. We are a 5 minute walk away from an ION stop and the 7, 16, and 4 bus routes.

We are all university students, age 20/21. Everyone is very kind and it is a friendly, fun house to live in. We often have paint, card, game and movie nights, which you are welcome to join. Hobbies of the house members include: rock climbing, guitar, thrifting, reading, gym, and painting. It is a pretty studious house, but friends are free to come over so long as everyone is respectful of others and cleans up after themselves. We all chip in with cleaning and chores, and work together to keep the house well-cared for.

We have a cat and rabbit, so we do not have room for any more house-roaming animals but small pets that stay in the bedroom are welcome (hamster, snake, etc.).

It is required that a potential tenant be LGBTQ-friendly; transphobia or homophobia will not be tolerated.
